AFTER'S STORY

Chef Curtis Duffy and Michael Muser opened After lounge in October 2022, right next door to their two-Michelin-starred restaurant Ever.  

After is a chic dinner and cocktail lounge serving ingredient-focused drinks and delicious smaller and larger plates. The After experience is refined yet approachable. Friendly, knowledgeable staff attend to every detail as guests enjoy a luxurious, relaxing experience in a sublime setting.   

Guests can eat a full meal, or enjoy small plates and caviar with cocktails. The beverage menu features delicious food-inspired cocktails made with the highest-quality ingredients, many of them house-made. 

Reservations are available but not required, and walk-ins are welcome. Many of Ever's guests enjoy cocktails before or after their experience, but After is also a neighborhood spot for regulars in the growing West Fulton Market neighborhood of Chicago.

After was named one of the United States' Top 15 bars by Food & Wine in spring 2024. In 2023, Esquire put After on their Best Bars in America list. The New York Times featured After in their 2023 "36 Hours in Chicago."
